About The Indivisible Movement
The Indivisible Movement is a grassroots effort that was born out of the election of Donald Trump as President.
Indivisible began as a guide, authored by former congressional staffers who witnessed the rise of the Tea Party. They saw these activists take on a popular president with a mandate for change and a supermajority in Congress. They saw them organize locally and convince their own MoCs to reject President Obama’s agenda. The Tea Party’s ideas were wrong, cruel, and tinged with racism— and they won.
Now it is our turn.
Since the guide was developed, Indivisible has grown into a grassroots organization with over 3,000 groups around the country. These groups were instrumental in defeating the GOP attempt to dismantle the ACA. They have also helped candidates challenge and win against entrenched conservatives around the country in local elections. The November mid-terms are next!
